난해하군요... 보통 이렇게 이해가 안 되는 건 번역을 하지 않는데, 이건 처음에 이해가
될 듯해서 시작해 반 이상 번역한 후에 "이거 아니다"라는 생각이 들었습니다. 하지만
투자한 시간이 아까워 그냥 올렸습니다. "bells"를 나팔바지로 번역한 것도 확실치 않고,
처음엔 '나'와 '그'가 같은 사람인 줄 알았는데 그것도 아닌 듯하군요. 세버린이 '그'인
건 거의 확실한 거 같고.. '너'는 여자를 가리킬 때도 있고 세버린을 가리킬 때도 있는 것
같다. 마지막에 "날 위해 호소해줘"는 나도 그렇게 (채찍 맛을 보게) 해주라고 여자에게
빌라는 의미로 해석해 봅니다. 소설 속의 세버린 얘기에 자신을 대입하는 걸로 해석해
볼 수 있겠다.
