Ugolino in Dante

"Father our pain", they said,

단테가 지옥에서 우골리노는 만나서 들은 얘기. 우골리노는 아들들과 함께 갇혀 굶어죽었다.

배고픔이 슬픔보다 강했다는 건 2가지 정도로 해석되는데, 하나는 자식의 시체를 먹었다는
것이고, 또 하나는 슬픔으로 죽기 전에 굶주림으로 죽었다는 것이다. 보통 전자로 해석한다.
