Adlestrop

Yes, I remember Adlestrop --
The name, because one afternoon
Of heat the express-train drew up there
Unwontedly. It was late June.

그 이름이. 어느 뜨거운 오후,
급행열차가 거기에 멈춰섰어요.
6월 하순이었죠.

The steam hissed. Someone cleared his throat.
No one left and no one came
On the bare platform. What I saw
Was Adlestrop -- only the name
                 
증기가 쉿소리를 냈고, 누군가 헛기침을 했죠.
텅 빈 플랫폼에는
아무도 내리지 않았고, 오는 사람도 없었어요.
내가 본 건 에이들스트롭, 단지 그 이름

And willows, willow-herb, and grass,
And meadowsweet, and haycocks dry,
No whit less still and lonely fair
Than the high cloudlets in the sky.
                 
그리고 버드나무와 분홍바늘꽃과 풀들,
그리고 메도우스위트와 작은 건초더미들,
하늘 높이 떠 있던 조각 구름들만큼이나
고요하고 호젓한.

And for that minute a blackbird sang
Close by, and round him, mistier,
