Their summer romance 그들의 여름 로맨스가
over, the lovers            끝났으나, 그 연인들은
still cling                      여전히 서로에게
to each other                매달려 있다

the way the green         나무에
leaves cling                 녹색 잎들이
to their trees                 9월의
in the strange heat        낯선 熱 속에

of September, as if       매달려 있듯이, 마치
this time                      이번엔
there will be                 가을이
no autumn.                  오지 않을 것처럼
